Objetivo:
Advocate for a greater understanding of the usage and impact of data visualization practice across disciplines, industries, and use cases; Collect, develop, and curate professional resources for members; Foster an inclusive, diverse, and international community; Remove barriers between practitioners across tools, industries, geographies, and borders; Support open and shared projects that focus on the development of best practices for data visualization methods, general practice, and historical research; Create spaces that provide meaningful opportunities to offer and receive guidance, input, and critique; Foster connection between members by hosting a robust calendar of global and local events and initiatives, both in-person and online, to serve a wide range of member-led interest groups; Create a long-term sustainable leadership and member-driven governance model
